We completed our internship at the Deutsche Schule Neu-Delhi (DSND). This time was a special and unforgettable experience for us. We were assigned to different classes. I was in the 3rd and 4th grade, while Priyamvad was in the 1st and 2nd grade. This allowed us to get to know different age groups.

During the internship, we observed lessons, saw how the primary school functions, and also helped out a little. Through this, we were able to gain a good insight into everyday school life and see how teachers and students work together.

The contact with the students was especially important to us. During breaks, we often played football and Uno together, which brought us all a lot of joy and made us even closer.

We also took part in various excursions. For example, we went to a farm, Lodhi Garden and to the Sacred Heart Cathedral. These trips were very interesting and helped us discover new places.

In addition, we were able to significantly improve our German. By listening to native speakers, we learned many new words and expressions. This experience was very valuable for us. Another highlight was that we were able to try new dishes. In this way, we also got to know the culture better.

The school festival was a special experience. There, we saw many different performances that were very creative and impressive. There were also many food and drink stalls. The atmosphere was very cheerful and lively, and everyone had a lot of fun together.

The time with Mr. Katelouzos, Ms. Schach, and Ms. Faber was also very nice. They were very friendly, funny, and helpful, and we spent valuable time together.

Overall, the internship at DSND was a rewarding experience. We miss the children and the teachers. We learned a lot, met new people, and collected many beautiful memories that we will not forget.
