Shortly before the Christmas holidays, our school's traditional Christmas activities took place - this time in the garden of the Bulgarian Embassy. Many hands had previously helped to festively decorate the area and ensure the physical well-being of everyone who came. Headmaster Mr. van Neerven and Ms. Leuschner, our parents' council chairwoman, opened the evening with short speeches and thanks.
Our elementary school students could be heard and seen on stage and performed a number of (pre-)Christmas songs. The new theater group daringly showed a first excerpt from their current work before the DSND school band concluded the stage program and led into the cozy and enjoyable part of the evening. Happy atmosphere everywhere.
The weather also held up: it was only at the very end that it started – no, not to snow! but rather to rain lightly. But only after all sensitive instruments and technical devices could be brought to safety.
It was a lovely Christmas hustle and bustle again!
