This month focused on transporting things from A to B—whether by car, plane, or ship. Our toddlers were excited and engaged in concentrated play. They experienced object permanence, self-efficacy, and developed their skills and coordination. The children shared their knowledge of familiar modes of transport and experimented with "What floats?" and "What sinks?" as well as our rocket experiment using a straw and a balloon. This allowed them to discover basic physical principles playfully. Through songs like "My Car Goes Beep-Beep" and "Row, Row, Row Your Boat," we connected listening, seeing, speaking, movement, and motor skills. We used images and objects to show various modes of transport and played memory games. Our imaginary airplane took us to Goa and back to kindergarten. Afterwards, we dove into the world of colors, experimenting with red, yellow, blue, green, orange, and purple.
