Do you fancy making your own skincare products? The participants in the "DIY - cosmetic dreams and care products" project group answered this question with a clear "yes". They stirred and cooked, measured and weighed, mixed and decanted and in the end took home deodorant, soap, toothpaste and coffee body scrub – preservative-free, of course. Decorative labels were designed for the soaps that were to be sold at the school festival. Lip balm and face cream were also for sale in small jars.
And the conclusion? It's not difficult at all to make your own care products, it's inexpensive and you know exactly what's in them. And above all: it was a lot of fun!
