Last Tuesday, the ceremonial school enrolment of the new first graders took place in the cinema hall. Many parents and siblings had gathered to celebrate this special day with the young children starting school.
The program was opened by the second to fourth-grade classes, who warmly welcomed the first graders to school. The principal, Mr. van Neerven, and the head of the primary school, Ulrike Faber, greeted the guests and prepared the children for their new chapter in life.
Afterward, the primary school students brought a cheerful atmosphere with dance and song. Finally, the long-awaited „Zuckertüten“ and good luck wishes written on clover leaves were distributed to the new schoolchildren.
These special „Zuckertüten“ were lovingly crafted by the third and fourth graders themselves. The new preschoolers were not left out either, as they received small „Zuckertüte“ to mark the beginning of their preschool journey.
After the program, the first graders were welcomed by their teachers and led to their new classrooms, where they experienced their very first lesson. Thus, a beautiful day came to an end, which will surely remain in the memory of the young first graders for a long time.
