On Friday, 18 September, we had our first Movie Day of the school year.
The movie afternoon started at 1:30 p.m. after lunch. Before entering the auditorium, the children could buy popcorn. They then took their cups of popcorn into the auditorium and found their seats.
We watched the German children’s film “Hände weg von Mississippi”. The film tells the story of ten-year-old Emma, who spends her summer holidays with her grandmother in the countryside. There she discovers a horse called Mississippi and decides to do everything she can to prevent him from being sold. Together with her friends, Emma has many adventures and tries to help the horse.
The children really enjoyed the film and had a lovely afternoon together with their friends – and, of course, with some popcorn.
Our first Movie Day came to an end, and the children are surely already looking forward to the next two Movie Days this school year.
