The two primary school classes had a great forest morning together on Friday 10th of march. As part of the "Indian Studies" lesson, they went to the Sanjay Van forest.
Sanjay Van is an urban forest area in south Delhi near Vasant Kunj. The thickly wooded area is home to many birds, making it a paradise for nature lovers.
Tree species, proper behaviour in the forest and other knowledge were on the programme.
The children had a chance to explore different types of trees and flowers and draw them on paper as well as play forest experience games and take a forest walk. They enjoyed the morning in the forest and are already looking forward to the next time.
