On 26 March 2026, our annual Primary School Sleepover took place – a special event that all the children had been eagerly looking forward to.
After breakfast together and setting up their sleeping areas at school, we travelled to Kalaan Farm in Gurugram. There, the children spent an exciting and varied day. They encountered horses, chickens and especially the dogs, which quickly became favourites among many of them. With great enthusiasm, the children fed the horses carrots and experienced the animals up close. On the large field, they enjoyed playing football, and the swimming pool was a definite highlight of the day.
After returning to school, the children spent time playing together, including games such as Monopoly and “Name, Place, Animal, Thing.” They then enjoyed a shared dinner with homemade pizza. In the evening, we watched the film Bibi Blocksberg in the auditorium, which created a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. Before going to sleep, the children read and listened to stories.
Especially the younger Grade 1 students showed great courage during their first overnight stay at school. Spending time together with friends outside regular school hours strengthened their sense of community. On Friday morning, the children happily shared their experiences with their parents.
