With the aim of broadening our students’ exposure to various aspects of physical education, we have introduced bouldering to our secondary school program. During periods of poor outdoor air quality, students go with their sports teacher to Boulderbox, where they climb once a week in a clean, air-filtered environment.

Bouldering helps students enhance their strength, coordination, and flexibility. Moreover, determining the most effective way to reach the top—even on challenging overhangs—fosters their problem-solving skills, cognitive development, and resilience. The sessions are conducted under the guidance of the sports teacher and trained Boulderbox coaches.
