There were two readings in the school auditorium on 12 November. On the one hand, the well-known Austrian children's and young adult author Elisabeth Etz read from several of her works. Ms Etz, who received an important science prize for her children's non-fiction book ‘Ein Baum kommt selten allein’ (A tree rarely comes alone), captivated the students with her exciting portrayal of the life of trees. For the older pupils, Ms Etz read from her latest book for young people, ‘Tomorrow is somewhere else’. Once again, it was a marvellous opportunity for us all to experience literature and a writer ‘at work’.
Equally exciting was the wonderful story written and performed by a group of primary school students. Lots of applause!
