On the 12th of december Mrs Julia Wadhavan visitet our school to read out of her book „Do /Don´t tell me who I am.“ Mrs Wadhavan is a journalist writing for renown daily newspapers and magazines. In her book she decribes as a German with an Indian father her access to India and also to her personal identity.
Who I am noticed in the society I am right now linving in? Where is actually „home“? In which language do I talk to myself? These are the kind of questions which also our students are very much interested in as well. As a consquence at the end of the reading a very interesting conversation between Mrs Wadhavan and the audience developed.
Her book can also be loaned in our library.
