On December 6th, just in time for St. Nicholas' Day, we received a visit from St. Nicholas in person in the kindergarten. In his red cloak, with a long white beard and his miter on his head, he looked very impressive. The children quickly realized that it was a very friendly Santa Claus who enjoyed the Santa Claus songs that the children had practiced especially for him. In the run-up to the event, the children had already made beautiful Christmas-printed bags that came back now filled with apples, nuts and chocolate and distributed them. With music accompanied by rattles, bells and wooden sticks, the children showed their gratitude to Santa Claus. And then he had to go on to the many other children on earth.
