Under the motto "Everyone is Unique," the students enthusiastically kicked off this year's project days. Initially, the children explored the diversity of carnival parades around the world. They learned about the traditions and customs of various countries—from the vibrant parades in Brazil to the traditional celebrations in Venice.
This journey through carnival cultures illustrated how different yet interconnected.
With great joy, the children crafted colorful carnival decorations, transforming their spaces into a festive carnival atmosphere. However, the highlight of the week was the work in project groups. The children took on roles as pharaohs and Cleopatra, danced as colorful carnival birds performing samba, and sang carnival songs in their vibrant costumes.
Everyone thoroughly enjoyed designing the costumes and rehearsing the dances. At the concluding school festival, the children proudly showcased their results. The audience was captivated by the creative performances.
For all participants, it was an unforgettable experience that will be cherished for a long time to come.
