On Friday, August 28, our new German Ambassador, Dr. Jasper Wieck, visited DSND.
Dr. Wieck was welcomed by Erik Illig, Chairman of the School Association, and Principal Martin van Neerven. During a tour of the school, he got a first impression of everyday life at DSND and had the opportunity to meet and talk with teachers as well as students.
Dr. Wieck made it clear that the German Embassy will continue to give DSND its full support. We were particularly pleased that he confirmed that he will attend the General Assembly on September 24. He also expressed his support for holding another School Ball in May.
We are very much looking forward to continuing our successful cooperation and to many more projects together!
