From the parents’ perspective, it was time for a rematch when, on February 21, a parents’ team and the students once again met for a volleyball tournament on the DSND sports field under bright sunshine. Where else do you see all students voluntarily showing up for a sports activity at 9:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning—with big smiles on their faces?
Coach Marco de Luca had four teams competing on two courts. It turned into a wonderful morning in which the young adults were able to show what they had learned, while the young-at-heart parents demonstrated what they are still capable of. In the end, everyone was a winner—even though the hoped-for rematch did not quite work out.
