There were many wishes. But then there was a lot of hard work ahead of us. I don't know if you know what it feels like to wash your hands for about 6 hours... that's what it feels like when you've been pasting for a whole day. But in the end you're happy when you've done it. In between, plans are corrected, newspapers are thrown and paste is applied. After the first finished paste bases (tree trunk, branches and twigs), the priming could now follow. Hard physical work with brushes and lots of dirty clothes followed. In between, we washed (hands and paint-stained pants and pullovers - there was always a clothes horse) and wow, now we could finally start spraying. The tree trunk, the branches, the clouds of leaves... real talents came to light. It's unbelievable what you can achieve with paint and combinations of different methods. Now the branches were attached with transparent yarn, making sure that no one fell off the ladder. It's all a question of balance.
Now the aesthetics... Repairs, touch-ups, breaks for the regeneration of tree and man.
An important realization of the day... our tree will probably not produce oxygen... But perhaps it will fulfill a wish or two.
