Visit of the Sshrishti school in Vasant Kunj

On December 3rd 2018 the winners from our school’s Nikolaus drawing competition visited the Sshrishti school in Vasant Kunj to share a bit of their Christmas cheer with the children, and partake in their smart board inauguration with Dr. Ney and Ms. Wieck from the German embassy. 
We received a warm welcome at the school, and got to see the excitement on both the students’ and teachers’ faces as they showed us how to use their newly donated smart boards.
Sshrishti students presented to us to a poem, a song, as well as an impressive choreographed dance performance. Our students had the chance to sing Christmas songs with the group, show them their paintings and drawings, and see the pure surprise and joy on their faces as they discovered what was inside the advent calendars.
Our visit was complete with the students giving us beautiful hand-made cards and vases made out of recycled materials.

Besuch der Sshrishti-Schule in Vasant Kunj

Am 3. Dezember 2018 besuchten die Gewinner des Nikolaus-Malwettbewerbs unserer Schule die Sshrishti-Schule in Vasant Kunj, um mit den Kindern in Weihnachtsstimmung zu feiern und an ihrer Smart Board-Eröffnung mit Frau Dr. Ney und Frau Wieck von der Deutschen Botschaft teilzunehmen.
Wir wurden in der Schule herzlich begrüßt und erfuhren die Begeisterung der Schüler und Lehrer, als sie uns zeigten, wie sie ihre neu gespendeten Smart Boards einsetzen können.
Die Sshrishti-Schüler haben ein Gedicht, ein Lied sowie einen beeindruckenden choreografierten Tanz präsentiert. Unsere Schüler hatten die Möglichkeit, Weihnachtslieder mit der Gruppe zu singen, ihnen ihre Gemälde und Zeichnungen zu zeigen und die Überraschung und Freude auf ihren Gesichtern zu sehen, als sie herausfanden, was sich in den Adventskalendern befand.
Die Schüler der Sshrishti Schule haben uns wunderschöne kreative handgefertigte Karten und Vasen aus recycelten Materialien geschenkt und so endete unser Besuch.
